A Thursday Mystery Photo, of sorts: Geotripper hits the Road/Sky/Sea
Geotripper is headed out on the road/sky/sea this week. The picture provides a clue of where...the material is geological in nature. Where am I headed?
Hmm, I agree that it's Pele's hair. Too long and straight for chrysotile. Effusive basalt, hmm. The Mojave is too hot, but the Modoc plateau is just right. Still, Hawaii is the safest bet.
