I hav ea deep appreciation for the skills I developed while studying in the streams of Rattlesnake and Mission Canyons, looking for the "king of the pond," belostomatids. What great memories. Feild bot...I too had a class or two with Al Flink. Feild botany if I remember. WE all had our Munz, loupe, and drive to find something cool. Trips out to the flower fields of California and beyond. I was young, a sponge, and learned alot, super bitchen.<br /><br />made my herberarium contribution with a few grasses, because nobody wanted to key them.
