That's a fish right? Finding fossils is ...Cool. That's a fish right? Finding fossils is fun and usually unexpected for me, since I'm not usually looking. But like our grandpa I do pick up interesting rocks now and again. Couldn't begin to tell you what they are. I have some petrified wood, a fossilized oyster shell, found in the lake we used to live on in Monument, a tiny void in a rock that looks like a clam on the same lake, and an arrowhead found in our yard here. It was mixed in with some purchase 2" stones that had been on the property. So who knows where it started out. My aim is to one day find a geode, but if I do, it'll be an accident!Sue Campbellnoreply@blogger.com
