The big thing with Zion is it is overhyped relative to say Kolob Canyons, which is actually (if the road is open) easier to get to since it has its own exit from i-15. Zion now suffers from the same malady as Yosemite Valley. <br />As to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, there are also some viewpoints reachable from gravel roads outside the park such as Crazy Jug point. lylenoreply@blogger.com
